modern horror movie, the beginning of a new era, trendsetting at its best...

Infected masses still come under the spell of the subgenre "zombie", while the days of the vampire as the horror creature most featured in the movies seem to be numbered. .
( if the intellectual refrains for once from lumping both subgenres together into one cauldron!!!)
"They are coming to get you again..." - simply ripped off or what?
One might think so but for me it is a certain aspect of identification ( believe it or not ),
a tribute to the glorious beginnings of the successful anarchic zombie movies, which never had it easy due to their strategically positioned special effects depictions...
In full contrast to the present where all majors beat themselves over the head ( and in the cinemas ) with the trendiest splatter orgies, torturing ad nauseam and profitably capitalizing on what was previously frowned upon, without hardly ever catching up on their class!
At present the horror genre is bleeding to death, it seems.
But meanwhile a few obsessed independent film enthusiasts are bravely trying to imitate what once set the Boneshaker Baby into motion. This is the alternative, we can look forward to what will be happening next - and no, I am not biased towards DEO.
There will never be a second Night of the Living Dead to haunt us ( a once-in-a-lifetime experience ) but with this ultra-low-budget production I'd like to dedicate my passion and my respect to the old-school-horror and its pioneers.
